Our senior high faith formation program centers around preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation and is divided into “Year 1” and “Year 2,” following this schedule:
Year 1Fall: Register for Program
January: Begin Classes
Spring: "Spring Fling" Elective Course
June: Conclude Year 1
Year 2Fall: Register for Program and Resume ClassesThe Year 1 program is open to grades 9-11. Our preparation includes at-church small group classes 1-2 times per month, service and retreat experiences, an elective course in the spring of Year 1, and active participation by Sponsors. This program is designed to be as flexible as possible for busy teens, while still allowing for the small group fellowship and relationship-building that is vital to a young person’s faith growth. Juniors and seniors in high school can apply for an accelerated program to complete preparation in a single school year.
Spring: Celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation
High school teens are also invited to participate in all aspects of parish life from leadership roles, to social events and adult lifelong learning events. We welcome teens wherever they are in their faith journey. -
