We are ready to welcome our campers, teen volunteers, and adult leaders to the STB Rainforest! Along with meeting God in song, Scripture, games, STEM, snacks, skits, and each other, Vacation Bible School always strives to be about something more than itself.
We look beyond our own doors and widen our eyes to see the needs of the world around us. This year we are partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach and Church leaders in Guatemala. Children, volunteers, and the greater STB community are encouraged to bring in monetary donations (anything from cash to a check) so that families there can be provided with seeds, fruit trees, supplies, and training in drought resistant farming.
Families will grow watermelon, peppers, cabbage, and other fresh produce in organic gardens. Some families will also receive supplies to grow corn or beans. A gift of $26.10 from you will plant 10 fruit trees! Would you please consider donating to this outreach effort?
