Help provide warmth for children in need during cold winter months here in the Bold North… …and enjoy beautiful chrysanthemums and other fall favorites from Gertens which will give brilliant color to your home throughout Autumn!
You will be supporting the Knights of Columbus “Coats for Kids” program when you order impressive fall plants or convenient plant cards (which can be used to buy plants throughout the year at the Gertens retail location in Inver Grove Heights.) Plant cards also make great gifts!
Place orders online through our Gertens fundraising portal beginning on Friday August 1st through Monday August 25th, 2025.
Pickup orders in the north parking lot near the historic church building at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church (1405 Sibley Memorial Highway, Mendota Heights) on either date:
o Saturday, September 13th, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
o Sunday, September 14th, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Home delivery by volunteer Knights is cheerfully available for those unable to pick up orders at Saint Peter’s. Just send an email to [email protected] with instructions.
All proceeds from this fundraiser are used to purchase cases of new coats for distribution to disadvantaged students attending Catholic schools within the Drexel Mission Schools Initiative in our Archdiocese. Monetary donations for this “Coats for Kids” program can be made on our council’s Square page. Visit EaganKnights.com for the link.
If plants are NOT your thing, you are invited to make an online monetary donation. Kindly click on any of these links:

In recent years, your generous support has enabled our local council to purchase many hundreds of warm coats for local students. Nationwide, the Knights have donated over one million coats in the last 15 years. View this two minute video for an uplifting message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a2Sa7Y6xWg
